BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain has been shifted from the cabin to the ICU at Evercare Hospital in the capital as his physical condition has deteriorated.
BNP media wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the information on Saturday night.
After the treatment of chest pain, Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain returned home from Singapore on September 5.
When he fell ill again, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Tuesday. He was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital on Friday night when his health deteriorated.
Shairul Kabir Khan also informed that BNP Vice-Chairman Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain is keeping track of his health.
