The ruling Bangladesh Awami League is set to hold a rally on December 10 to mark Human Rights Day.
The rally, under the banner of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League, will be held at the south gate of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at around 3pm.
A media release, issued on Saturday, stated: “To mark the Human Rights Day on December 10, a rally has been arranged demanding prompt justice for the families of victims affected by the BNP-Jamaat's arson attacks.”
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will join the rally as the chief guest.
Several other central leaders will join the rally as well.
