Leaders and activists of Jatiyatabadi Swechasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal brought out a torch procession on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar on Thursday evening during the sixth phase of the BNP blockade program one-point movement demanding resignation of the government
The leaders and activists of Jatiyatabadi Swechasebak Dal gathered at the Radio Colony area of Savar at around 6pm.
Later they brought out the torch procession from there to the Dhaka-bound lane of Dhaka-Aricha highway.
At that time, they chanted slogans demanding the resignation of the current government. The procession ended at the Shimultala area.
Jatiyatabadi Swechasebak Dal Joint General Secretary of Central Parliament Ghalib Imtiaz Nahid led the march and with the leaders and activists of various levels of Swechasebak Dal.
Central Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Hafizur Rahman Sohan, Joint General Secretary Ibrahim Khalil Biplab, and current and former leaders of Jahangirnagar University Branch Chhatra Dal also joined procession.
