A cocktail exploded in the capital’s Paltan area on Tuesday.
The incident took place around 1:15pm, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Paltan police station Salauddin confirmed the matter.
He said BNP leaders and activists took out a procession in support of the blockade from the Bijoynagar water tank area under the Paltan police station. They detonated a cocktail from the procession.
After the cocktail blast, they tried to vandalize a private car, the OC added.
Later, police reached the spot and managed to disperse the protesters.
