The Friday's rally of Awami League's associate organizations will be held at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, instead of the old trade fair ground in Agargaon, said Afzalur Rahman Babu, general secretary of Swechchasebak League.
The three associate organizations are-- Chhatra League, Jubo League and Swechchasebak League.
The rally cannot be held at the old trade fair ground as there is a scheduled program of the president at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) next to the ground, he told reporters in Dhaka's Agargaon on Thursday.
A press conference regarding the rally will be held at the Chhatra League office on Bangabandhu Avenue at 5pm on Thursday, reports UNB.
The three youth wings of the ruling party had originally planned to hold the rally at the southwest gate of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 11am on Thursday.
When they were denied permission by the DMP, they attempted to shift the rally to the Dhaka University Gymnasium but could not get permission there either.
Mater, they decided to hold the rally at the Dhaka International Trade Fair field at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Friday afternoon.
However, finally it has been finalized that the rally will be held at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
Party sources said the DMP has instructed them to hold political programs on the weekend and not on the weekdays. As a result, both parties have shifted their rallies to Friday.
