State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam has said the BNP's one-point demand is unconstitutional.
“Continuing to demand anything unconstitutional only suggests that they want to destabilize the country,” the state minister tweeted on Wednesday.
The state minister also said the BNP is planning to “fish in troubled water.”
“We will not let that happen. We will not compromise with peace n stability.”
The BNP and like-minded political parties will jointly announce a “one-point” movement for the “resignation” of the current government. They demand the next national election be held under a neutral government.
The BNP is scheduled to hold a public rally in front of its Naya Paltan central office at 2pm on Wednesday, from where Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will announce the programs to kick off their one-point movement.
