Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has sent relief to the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey that killed over 42,000 people.
BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury handed over emergency medicines and dry food items on behalf of the party to the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka on Thursday.

“Party's standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, BNP Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid and BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam handed over the relief materials on Thursday afternoon,” he said.
Turkish diplomat Yaşar Batuhan Gürhan was present at the time, he added.
