PM pays homage to Bangabandhu

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sunday paid rich tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in city on the occasion of 64th founding anniversary of Awami League

After laying the wreath, the Prime Minister stood there in solemn silence for sometime as a mark of respect to the memory of the great leader.

Flanked by senior leaders of the party, Sheikh Hasina placed another wreath at Bangabandhu’s portrait as the president of Bangladesh Awami League.

She formally inaugurated the day’s programs of the day through hoisting national flag and releasing pigeons there.

Awami League Advisory Council Members Amir Hossain Amu and Tofail Ahmed, Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury, Post and Telecommunication Minister Sahara Khatun, Land Minister Rezaul Karim Hira, Home Minister Muhiuddin Khan Alamgir, Communications Minister Obaidul Quader nad Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad were, among others, present on the occasion.
