BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad are now in Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, for medical treatment.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia left home for Singapore Sunday night for treatment. This will be her second visit to Singapore within a span of three months.
A flight of Singapore Airlines carrying the BNP chief and her entourage took off from Shahjalal International Airport around 11:55pm.
Khaleda visited the country for treatment of her teeth and other complications on February 19 and returned home on March 1.
Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad and his wife also flew to Singapore on June 10.
JP chair’s Personal Secretary (PS), Major Khaled Akther and Ershad’s son Rahgir Al Mahdi Ershad (Shad) are also accompanying the leader during the visit. Ershad will be back today, but Khaleda Zia on Jun 24.
