The ruling Awami League has held a colourful procession in Dhaka to welcome the Bangla New Year 1430
It started at Bahadur Shah Park in Old Dhaka on Friday, Pohela Boishakh.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Presidium members Muhammad Abdur Razzaque and Md Qamrul Islam, Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, and Office Secretary Biplab Barua, among others, took part in the event organized by Dhaka South Awami League.
A large number of leaders and activists of Dhaka South Awami League also participated in the Pohela Boishakh celebrations.
