A Dhaka court Monday fixed May 28 for the remand hearing of Islami Chattra Shibir president, Delwar Hossain in two arson cases.
The Bangladesh Railway Police sought a 10-day remand in a case of arson on the railway on March 4 and the Savar police sought a seven-day remand in a case of arson at a petrol pump at Savar on March 7.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Tayabul Hasan deferred the remand hearing to May 28.
On May 14 the Motijheel and Paltan police applied for a 30-0day remand in four cases against Delwar.
The accused was arrested in Shyamoli on March 31.
