The government has imposed a one-month ban on all kinds of political rallies and processions across the country for the sake of smooth rehabilitation and relief activities in post-Mahasen period.
LGRD minister Syed Ashraful Islam, also general secretary of Awami League, made the disclosure on Sunday, reports Banglanews24.com
Home minister MK Alamgir also confirmed the matter in a meeting in Chittagong on Sunday.
“No political party will be allowed to hold any kind of rally or procession across the country,” Alamgir said.
