Awami League presidium member Mohammad Nasim has said that an early election might be on the cards if deemed necessary, but the government will not bow down to injustice.
The former home minister was speaking at a roundtable at the Dhaka Reporters’ Unity Monday morning.
The next elections would be held under the supervision of an interim government no matter what threats they receive, he added.
Nasim also called upon the opposition leader Khaleda Zia to give up calling hartals if she was indeed a patriot.
