BNP leaders Moudud Ahmad, Barkatullah Bulu and Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anniewere granted bail by a Dhaka court on Sunday.
The court, however, rejected the bail plea of seven other top party leaders, including acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Aman Ullah Aman and Ruhul Kabir Rizvy.
Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge Md Zahurul Haq heard the bail pleas and passed the order in the afternoon.
Four cases were filed against the leaders with the Paltan Police Station, two with Ramna and one with Sahjanhanpur on charges of assaulting and obstructing police, exploding bombs and vandalism on March 2 and March 6 in the capital.
