The Awami League has picked its candidates for the by-polls to parliamentary seats of Dhaka 14, Sylhet 3 and Comilla 5.
The nominations were finalized on Saturday at a meeting of the party’s parliamentary board headed by Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, according to a statement sent to the media.

The Awami League has nominated Habibur Rahman for Sylhet 3 and Abul Hashem Khan for Comilla 5 by-elections.
The by-polls in these constituencies are scheduled for July 28.
The constituencies were declared vacant due to the death of Sylhet’s Mahmud Us Samad on March 11, Dhaka’s Aslamul Haque on April 4, and Comilla’s 5 Abdul Matin Khasru on April 14.
