Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif has left Dhaka for Canada to meet with his family.
The Awami League leader left the country on flight no QR-639 of Qatar Airways on Friday, Hanif’s Personal Assistant (PS) Tariqul Islam Tutul confirmed.
Tutul said the Kushtia-3 MP went to see his older brother who is sick.
Hanif will come back to the country shortly, Tutul added.
After a long suspension, international flight operations resumed on June 16 from Dhaka amid the coronavirus pandemic.
