BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s lawyer advocate Sanaullah Miah has died. He was 60 years old.
He passed away around 9pm on Friday while undergoing treatment at Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Dhaka’s Dhanmondi area, said BNP chairperson's media wing member Shamsuddin Didar.
Sanaullah was also the legal affairs secretary of BNP.
He is left behind his wife, two daughters and a son.
Miah had been suffering from various diseases, including cancer.
BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman and the party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir expressed deep condolence at the death.
