Jatiya Party's Co-Chairman Ghulam Mohammad Quader has asked for RMG and media workers' wages and bonuses to be cleared by the 25th day of Ramadan.
In a statement on Wednesday, he also urged for all arrears of the RMG and media workers to be cleared.
GM Quader said: "The RMG workers are contributing the most to our economy and also they are the most deprived ones.
"Media personnel talk about everyone's rights but they are not receiving their own rights. It is true they have not received wages for months, let alone bonuses."
"Hopefully RMG sector and media house owners will clear the dues by Ramadan 25 and we can all equally enjoy the Eid together," the Jatiya Party leader added.
