BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said they rejected the election, the government and its parliament as people were unable to cast their votes properly.
He made the statement to journalists after a meeting with the BNP leaders at the party’s Naya Paltan headquarters in Dhaka on Tuesday.
The BNP senior leader further said: “This government has no right to run this country as they were not elected by people’s vote.”
“BNP will continue its democratic struggle to establish a people’s government,” he added.
