Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has assured that the next general election will free and fair.
“There is no doubt about the upcoming election, it will be free and fair,” Hasina said during the dialogue with Awami League-led 14-party alliance at her Ganabhaban residence on Sunday night.
Hasina, also the Awami League President said: “Government is working for people and we have increased the growth rate of the country.”
The prime minister also said the people of the country can dream big now.
She mentioned about her promise to build a developed Bangladesh. “We will turn Bangladesh into a developed country if we come in power again. If we fail to come then all our development works will go in vain.”
Awami League Presidium member Mohammad Nasim, General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Advisory Council Member Amir Hossain Amu, attended the dialogue, among others.
