BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has announced there will be a public rally with Jatiya Oikya Front on November 6.
He stated this to reporters at a press conference, after a meeting at BNP’s Naya Paltan central office, on Saturday, at noon.
The senior BNP leader said: "We held the meeting today at the Naya Paltan central office to discuss Jatiya Oikya Front’s public rally at Dhaka's Suhrawardy Udyan. Additionally, BNP will also celebrate November 7 as the National Revolution and Solidarity Day.”
He also said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir presided over the meeting and provided some guidelines for the rally’s success.
Responding to a journalist’s question, Rizvi said they have yet to receive the permission to hold a rally on November 6 in the capital; however, they hope they will be granted the permission.
