BNP has brought out a “black flag” rally to protest the August 21, verdict against its acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, at the Kalyanpur- Shyamoli highway.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi led the rally at 7:30am on Sunday, said a press release from the BNP office.
The press release also mentioned that around 300 activists from BNP and its associates took part in the rally. They gave slogans against the verdict from there.
Tarique was sentenced to life imprisonment in the August 21 grenade attack cases.
