Awami League forms national election conducting committee

Awami League has formed its national election conducting committee ahead of the next parliamentary polls likely to be held in December. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has been nominated as chairman of the committee, with the party’s advisory council member HT Imam as co-chairman and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader as its member secretary, said an Awami League press release on Monday. Members of the Awami League advisory council and Awami League central working committee, presidents, and secretaries of its associate bodies are the executive members of the “National Election Conducting Committee.”
