The BNP has paid tribute to its founder Ziaur Rahman on Bangladesh’s 48th Independence and National Day.
Party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, flanked by leaders of the party, placed a floral wreath at the grave on Monday morning.
Activists and supporters of the BNP and its affiliate organizations thronged the former president’s grave at the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar since the morning.
