BNP leader Abdul Awal Mintoo has been granted bail in seven arson and anarchy cases.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Kurshid Alam granted bail to the BNP leader in two cases filed with Shahbagh and Ramna police stations each.
Moreover, Md Maruf Hossain, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate, granted bail to Mintoo in five cases filed with Paltan police station.
The cases were filed after January 5, 2015 following countrywide hartal, blockade enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
