Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday told the parliament that there is no existence of international militant organization IS in Bangladesh.
Though some home-grown organizations might be involved in terrorist activities in the name of Islam, there is no existence of the IS in the country, she said.
“The Awami League government believes in zero tolerance towards any sorts of militancy. We are firmly determined to counter the militancy,” she said responding to a query in the parliament.
