The 14-party alliance will form human chains across the capital on February 15, protesting BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's statement on the Liberation War martyrs.
The ruling party-led alliance will also protest Pakistan's interference in Bangladesh's internal matters.
Mohammad Nasim, spokesperson of the alliance, made the statement in a press conference held at the Awami League president Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office on Sunday morning.
He said: “Pakistan has been interfering in our internal matters after the execution of two war criminals [Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid] in Bangladesh.”
Referring to Pakistan's recent activities, Nasim said: “Pakistani diplomats living in Bangladesh have been involved with wrong activities while they have been harassing our diplomats in their country.
“We want to maintain a good relation with them as they are the members of Saarc but if they continue to do such things then we are in a doubt about the relation in the future.”
The Health Minister also said there is a link between the statement Khaleda Zia made regarding the Liberation War martyrs and Pakistan's recent activities that interfered in Bangladesh's internal matters.
Tension has been prevailing between Bangladesh and Pakistan since last November after the country issued statement on the execution of war criminals’ in Bangladesh.
Amid the rumours about some Pakistani diplomats being involved with militancy in Bangladesh, a Bangladeshi diplomat went missing in Islamabad on February 1.
Jahangir Hossain went traceless for seven hours soon after the law enforcers detained a Pakistani embassy official in Dhaka over the rumours of him having ties with militancy.
On the other hand, Khaleda raised questions over the accuracy of the number of the 1971 Liberation War martyrs, claiming the official figure of 3 million was disputed.
During the programme on December 21, Khaleda also claimed Bangabandhu did not want independence, but wanted to be Pakistan's prime minister.
However, she did not mention the name of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman while making the statement.
