Rizvi: NCC voters not free from intimidation

Update : 14 Dec 2016, 08:46 PM
If the government stops threatening the supporters of BNP then its candidates could surely win, he said during a press briefing at BNP central office in Dhaka's Nayapaltan. He also said the real face of the Election Commission is now visible. All candidates of the election requested the deployment of army during the polls but the commission did not accept the proposal. “We have also received complains from voters that they are receiving threats from ruling party candidates,” Rizvi claimed. Several central leaders of BNP and activists were present at the press conference, among others. The Narayanganj City Corporation polls is scheduled to be held on December 22.
