The 68th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), a student wing of the ruling Awami League, will be observed today across the country.
The Chhatra League has taken various programmes to mark the day.
The programmes include hoisting of the national and party flags atop the party office in the early morning, paying tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32 in the city at 6:30am, cutting cake at 8:01am at Curzon Hall and bringing out colourful procession from Aporajeyo Bangla at 10am.
Road Transport and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader is expected to inaugurate the rally.
