Health Minister Mohammad Nasim yesterday emphasized on the sincerity to the profession of the country’s physicians and said no medical negligence in hospitals could be tolerated.
The minister came up with the remark while he was addressing at a view exchange meeting with the teachers and students of Shaheed M Monsur Ali Medical College in Sirajganj at noon.
Principal Dr Rezaul Islam presided over the programme while among others Begum Laila Arjumand, Deputy Commissioner Bellal Hossain,Dr Debopad Roy, Abdur Razzak and Ulfat Ara.
Nasim also said the government had made example by taking steps to build up five medical colleges in a day and appointed 6,000 doctors at a time.
“We have brought out a revolutionary change in medical sector,” he said.
