Expressing concern over the killings of two foreign nationals, BNP yesterday said the country’s citizens are not safe now due to authoritarian rule and deterioration of law and order.
The party also demanded arrest of lawmaker Manjurul Islam Liton for allegedly shooting a minor boy in Gaibandha on Friday morning.
“One Japanese citizen was killed in Rangpur as the law and order situation has deteriorated. Earlier an Italian citizen was killed in Dhaka. People are not safe both inside and outside their houses.”
