The BNP-led 20-party alliance will stage demonstration across the country on September 5 protesting price hike of power and gas.
BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan made the announcement at a press release issued on Wednesday.
This protest programme is the first programme after the opposition alliance’s three month blockade programme.
Urging the people of the country to get united to protest the price hike, Nazrul said, otherwise, the government will hike gas price again on December.
