A Rajshahi court has sent BNP’s joint secretary Mizanur Rahman Minu to jail rejecting his bail petition in a case filed under the explosive act.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rajshahi Mizanur Rahman gave the order after Minu appeared before the court and prayed for bail.
Minu, president of Rajshahi city unit BNP, was in jail in several sabotage cases filed during BNP-led 20-party alliance's hartal and blockade.
On Sunday, he was brought before court as he filed bail petition in a case under explosive act.
However, the same court passed a bail order to the BNP’s Rajshahi city unit general secretary Shafikul Haque Milon who was in jail in five sabotage cases filed during BNP-led 20-party alliance's hartal and blockade.
