Moments after rejecting bail to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser Mosaddek Ali Falu, a Dhaka court has granted him bail upon a reconsideration petition.
Falu fell ill when he was being taken to jail after Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan rejected his bail on Thursday afternoon.
Then, Falu's lawyer Sanaullah Mia filed a reconsideration petition with the court. After, hearing the petition, the court granted bail to the BNP chief's adviser in a violence case filed with Badda police station.
Earlier in the day, Falu surrendered before the court and sought bail.
On June 27, the High Court had granted bail to Falu till the time police submits report in the case.
