Bangladesh National Alliance (BNA) Chairman Barrister Nazmul Huda yesterday urged BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia not to celebrate her birthday on August 15.
“I would like to request BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia not to celebrate and cut her birthday cake on August 15. You please cut cake and celebrate your birthday at any day except this day. This is a national mourning day”, he said while addressing a rally on the national mourning day, organised by Jatiya Ganatantrik League in front of Jatiya Press Club.
He also requested Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to declare a government holiday to mark BNP founder Ziaur Rahman’s death anniversary on May 30.
