BNP’s acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is scheduled to fly to Singapore on Sunday night for better treatment.
Syrul Kabir Khan, an official of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's press wing, said that the BNP leader will leave Dhaka in the night by a flight of Singapore Airline.
Mirza Fakhrul got released on bail from detention in jail on July 14, after six months of his arrest.
He was arrested on January 6 immediately after he had stepped out of the National Press Club. Fakhrul had been at the Press Club since he attended a programme organised by a pro-BNP professionals’ organisation on January 5.
