Unknown miscreants yesterday beat up BNP Assistant Organising Secretary Abdus Salam in the party’s Nayapaltan office.
He was admitted to Islami Bank Hospital in Kakrail with head injuries, said Asadul Karim Sahin, assistant office secretary of the party.
Sahin said some 20-30 people suddenly entered the office and attacked Salam, who was attending a meeting
“They beat Salam, hurled abuse at party Chairperson Khaleda Zia, and fled quickly.”
