BNP Joint Secretary-General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and party chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Adviser Md Shamsuzzaman Dudu have been sent to jail rejecting their bail pleas.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Emdadul Haq passed the order on Thursday.
The court also asked the authorities concerned to interrogate them at the jail gate within the three working days.
Police appealed 27-day remand pleas for Rizvi in three separate cases filed with Paltan police station and 60-day remand for Dudu in six separate cases filed in connection with arson, vandalism, interruption to the duties of police.
