Farida Khandker, wife of wife of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Liberation War, Commander of the air operation "Kiloflight" of the Liberation War and former chief of air staff Air Vice Marshal AK Khandker, has passed away.
She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Sunday, at the age of 82.
She is survived by two sons, one daughter.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the chief of Air Staff has expressed profound sorrow at the demise of Farida Khandker and offered prayers for the eternal peace of her departed soul, along with heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Her namaz-e-janaza will be held on Wednesday, after Asr prayer at BAF Shaheen Mosque in Dhaka, followed by her burial at the BAF Shaheen Cemetery.
