The hanging body of a former content creator of Dhaka Tribune Al-Nasib Jelanee Jackie has been recovered from a rented house in the capital’s Mirpur area Wednesday morning.
Pallabi police station Inspector (Investigation) Mejbah Uddin confirmed the information.
He said: “Jackie's body was found hanging with a scarf wrapped around his neck. The body has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital morgue for post-mortem to find out the exact cause of death.”
The police inspector also said that a case of unnatural death is being filed in this incident.
Jackie was working as an assistant producer in Dhaka Tribune's new media department. He was a student of the English Department of Jahangirnagar University. He lived with his wife and mother-in-law in a rented house at Mirpur No. 11.
