Filmmaker and noted actor Saidul Anam Tutul has died on Tuesday.
He was 68.
Tutul has been suffering from heart-related diseases and was on life support at the coronary care unit (CCU) of Labaid hospital.
Saidul is the first general secretary and lifetime member of Director’s Guild.
In 1979, Saidul won the National Film Award as Best Editor for the film “Surja Dighal Bari.” He has worked on cinemas like- “Ghuddi,” “Dahan,” “Dipu Number 2,” and “Dukhai.”
In 2017-18, Saidul returned to filmmaking after 15 years with “Kaalbela”. His last major work was “Adhiar,” which was released on 2003.
