President Hamid summons 15th session of Parliament on Nov 14

President Abdul Hamid has summoned the 15th session of the Parliament at 4pm on November 14.
The president summoned the session, exercising the power bestowed upon him as per article 72 (1) of the constitution, said a notification of the Parliament Secretariat.
According to the constitution, a period exceeding 60 days shall not intervene between the end of one session and the first sitting of Parliament in the next session.
The 14th session of the 11th parliament was prorogued on September 16, after only seven sittings as it was another short session amid the Covid pandemic.
