The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended monitoring those who use the short-form video hosting service TikTok, considering the misuse and harmful aspects of the platform.
The committee in its meeting on Thursday suggested the home ministry write to the ministries and agencies concerned in this regard.
The panel also recommended all law enforcement agencies take more effective steps to implement the zero-tolerance policy on narcotics.
