The government has a plan to construct a land office in each upazila across the country.
“The government has a plan to build a land office in each upazila,” said Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury while responding to a starred question placed by Treasury Bench Lawmaker Liakat Hossen Khoka of Narayanganj-3 in the Parliament on Thursday.
A land office will be constructed in each upazila in phases, said the minister adding that renovation work of the dilapidated union land offices will also be carried out simultaneously in phases.
