Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq has said the government has scrapped the gazette notifications and certificates of 3,107 ‘fake freedom fighters.’
The minister stated this during a question-and-answer session at Parliament on Saturday.
He also provided the names of 4,188 freedom fighters—excluded in the last 10 years—he recommends to include in an official gazette notification.
