Dinajpur Nursing College organized a job fair on Sunday The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Secretary of the Technical and Madrasa Division of the Ministry of Education, as chief guest.
Special guests included Dr Mehbuba Saeed, Deputy Project Director of the Asset Project; Dr Sheikh Sadek Ali, Principal of Dinajpur Medical College; and Dr Md Fazlur Rahman, Director of Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
The program, chaired by Dr Kohinoor Begum, Principal of Dinajpur Nursing College, featured speeches from prominent figures in nursing and healthcare, including Md. Rafiqul Islam of TMSS Fatematuz Zahra (R.) Hospital, Smita Hasda of Lamb Learning & Development Center, Rita Rani Pal of TMSS Nursing Institute, and Lipika Jesintha Madhu of Lamb Nursing Midwifery Institute, among others.
Eight healthcare institutions set up stalls at the fair. Over a hundred nursing graduates submitted their CVs, with many securing employment through on-the-spot interviews. Speakers praised the initiative as a commendable step in addressing unemployment and benefiting society, and encouraged continued support from all stakeholders.
