Fabia Tasnim Sidhi, 29, a lecturer in the Zoology Department of Bogra Government Shah Sultan College and a 41st BCS education cadre officer, was found dead under unusual circumstances. Police recovered her body from the bathroom of her rented apartment in Bogra’s Chakfarid area on Thursday night.
Mahfuz Alam, Inspector (Investigation) of Bogra Sadar Police Station, said they suspect she collapsed from a stroke, fell on the bathroom floor, and suffered a fatal head injury. However, the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the autopsy report.
Sidhi, originally from Mymensingh, lived alone as her mother was away visiting their hometown. When her mother returned Thursday evening and received no response from repeated calls and knocks, she discovered the body and notified police via the emergency number 999.
