Leaders of the Gopalganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj, Md. Arif-uz-Zaman. The meeting took place on Wednesday, when the Chamber president Kazi Jinnat Ali and general secretary Sheikh Masudur Rahman Masud, along with other officials, presented the DC with a bouquet as a gesture of goodwill.
Also present were the Chamber’s vice-president Md. Mosharraf Hossain, directors Md. Mizanur Rahman, Md. Kamrul Islam, Md. Monirul Islam, SM Neyamat Khoda Iqbal Hossain, SM Ziauddin Khan, and Chowdhury Shahinul Alam.
Speaking to journalists, vice-president Md. Mosharraf Hossain said the Chamber requested the DC’s support in establishing new industries and expanding business activities in the district. They also presented key data highlighting potential opportunities for business growth and offered preliminary proposals aimed at keeping the district’s economy active and enhancing Gopalganj’s contribution to the national economy.
The Deputy Commissioner listened patiently and promised to assist in resolving issues and support the expansion of trade and commerce in the district.
