Train communication between Khulna and other parts of the country has been suspended as a bogie of a commuter train derailed at Jessore rail station on Monday morning.
Aynal Hossain, Jessore Rail Station master, said that the bogie of Mongla Commuter Train from Benapole veered off the tracks around 11:25am at the station, halting train services between Khulna and other parts of the country.
Efforts are on to salvage the derailed bogie soon and to restore the train communication, said Mahitosh Biswas, in-charge of Railway Police.
