Thousands of people took to the streets of Jessore on Monday to protest against Israel's attacks on Gaza, echoing the slogan "The blood debt of millions of martyrs, Palestine Palestine" as they voiced their condemnation of the ongoing violence.

The protest, organized by the 'Students and People of All Walks of Life in Jessore,' began at 11am with a rally at the Dhatatna Bhairab Shaheed Square, situated in the heart of the city.

Participants included students from prominent local institutions such as Jessore University of Science and Technology, Government MM College, City College, as well as people from various other sectors of society.

The procession, which grew into a large and powerful demonstration, began at Dhatatna and marched through the city's main streets, capturing the attention of onlookers and residents.

A brief gathering was held before the march, where prominent speakers such as writer and researcher Benzin Khan, and Rashed Khan, the coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement of Jessore, addressed the crowd.

They strongly criticized Israel's actions, accusing the Zionist state of committing genocide against Palestinians, including women and children, and turning Palestine into a war-torn wasteland.

The rally concluded with a call for the boycott of all Israeli products as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinian people and in protest of the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
